Olivia Steadman’s Journey

Olivia Steadman is a vocalist and performer with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, where her love for music began at a young age. Her early years were filled with performances in church, school, and community theater, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for the performing arts.

At 15, Olivia began formal vocal training with Laura Thoreson, which prepared her for advanced studies at Portland State University. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice, studying under esteemed mentors Megan Sand and Dr. Hannah Penn. While at PSU, she was also a proud member of the university’s acclaimed Chamber Choir, directed by Dr. Ethan Sperry, traveling internationally to represent the United States in many choral festivals and competitions.

After graduating, Olivia expanded her career in multiple areas of music and education. She became a voice and piano instructor at the Opus School of Music in Ridgefield, Washington, where she nurtured students' musical talents. She also served as a vocal coach for the Heritage High School choir program in Vancouver, Washington, and as the vocal director for Evergreen High School's after-school theater program. In addition to these roles, Olivia continued to build her own voice studio, SteadmanVoice, where she worked with students of all ages.

In 2023, Olivia and her husband, Connor, relocated to Utah, where she poured her heart into growing her home studio, which has flourished in Utah County. She now teaches voice to students of all ages and levels and has a growing group of talented young pianists as well.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Olivia’s life has been enriched by love and family. She met Connor in 2018, and they married in 2021. Together, they welcomed their first child in July 2023.

When she’s not performing or teaching, Olivia enjoys life’s simple pleasures—taking walks with her daughter, reading, crafting, baking, singing her favorite songs, and spending quality time with her family.
